Skiing & snowboarding
Strap on your snowboard and off you go! It’s really that easy at the in Leni Mountain apartments in Sölden. Simply buy your ski ticket at our reception desk, and you can start your day of skiing straight away. Perfect piste conditions throughout the winter season promise ideal days in the snow. There are numerous slopes to discover and ski lodges to visit, not to mention traditional food to give you strength and which shouldn’t be missed. The views over the entire valley are the icing on the cake.
Free-riding
Free-riding is becoming increasingly popular. At present, Sölden is still an insider’s tip. Special free-ride guides will show you the best ski slopes and skiing areas in the environment. You can live out your passion for free riding at any number of different spots and discover the amazing natural scenery in Sölden from a different angle.
Tobogganing
Rapid downhill runs and exciting curves ensure tobogganing is a memorable experience in Sölden. In Sölden, those who don’t feel like hiking up the mountain can take the tobogganing bus instead. In the winter season, the bus operates from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm, and is free of charge to all holders of a valid ski pass.
The newly built and illuminated toboggan run goes from the midway station of the Gaislachkogl cable car to Sölden. And with a total length of 7.2 km, it is one of the longest toboggan runs in Austria. With its gentle curves, the toboggan run is also suitable for families and those with less tobogganing experience.
Moonlight tobogganing in Sölden – When night has fallen, the fun in the snow is far from over. The Stiegele toboggan run is illuminated in the evenings once a week, and a special evening toboggan bus runs every 20 minutes to the starting point.
Events
Here, superb events await you which make your winter into a unique experience. Start off the skiing season with the opening of the Audi FIS Ski World Cup and get to see your favourite competitors in person. Nighttime skiing on the pistes is also an experience which no fan of skiing should miss out on. To round things off, with the Electric Mountain Festival, we welcome superstars here in Sölden and party away at a breathtaking setting on the Giggijoch.
