Hiking

There are 300 km of signposted hiking trails in Sölden. There is something for everyone here, from beginners to seasoned hikers. From short family hikes to frontier walks that last several days, everyone can find their pace here and enjoy the breathtaking natural scenery. This is where you can walk along popular routes or try out one of the special insider’s tips. More serious walkers can secure a sought-after hiking badge in return for the hiking lodge stamps. The panoramic views are equally impressive on all the trails.

Mountain biking

In just a few years, “Sölden Bike Republic” has made a name for itself as one of the best mountain bike destinations in Europe. Enduro routes, nature trails and e-bike tours make the area something very special for all fans of biking and cycling. You can go uphill by cable car or with the power of your own muscles, but going downhill is almost always on two wheels. In this case, you can decide whether you prefer a valley descent that’s leisurely or speedy, as the number of paths is almost unlimited. As so many people here share the same passion for cycling, the trails are well-maintained and everyone can have fun on two wheels.

Rock climbing

Put your climbing shoes on, ready set go! The wall is calling: after all, Sölden is home to a fantastic via ferrata which is waiting to be climbed. You will also find 2 climbing gardens with variable levels of difficulty here. If that isn’t enough for you, you can also find a wide range of climbing routes for every level in the rest of the valley. Trained climbing instructors and courses make sure your safe on the ropes and that nothing stands in the way of your fun.

Excursions & museums

The Ötztal valley and its museums are definitely worth a visit. Here, you can find out more about the idiosyncrasies of the region and learn interesting new facts about your holiday destination. 3 museums you should be certain to visit during your stay are the 007Elements – a James Bond installation, the Heimat Museum in Längenfeld and the Motorcycle Museum on the Timmelsjoch High Alpine Road in Hochgurgl.
